Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) was incorporated as a confidential restricted Organization in 1963 and later changed over into a public restricted organization in January 1964 under the Companies Act 1913 of English India, presently The Companies Act 2017 of Pakistan, and is recorded on the Pakistan Stock Trade.

The Organization’s business tasks started by selling a normal of 1.3 million cubic meters (47 million cubic feet) each day gas in two areas viz. Multan and Rawalpindi.
